hey, my cousin designed this for his little business recently, and I was wondering if I could see your take on it?

I'm wondering if you could conceive of something more 'your style' in respects to the little man on the skateboard? i think it's a good base for further enhancement, and the font is probably something we should stick with, but stylistic modifications could be right up your alley (butt).

let me know if i could see something because I'm supposed to finish the website by next week!

well for starters that is clearly not a little man, that is an A on a badly drawn skateboard.

I don't like the font at all, especially the W. Where did he find it?

everything needs to be more spaced out, away from each other. It's a good start but I imagine that you're going to fix it?

totally. only reason i say the font should stay is that the prototype skateboard i tried yesterday already has a sticker with that font on the side... and he didn't seem very open to me tinkering with the logo because he was so proud of having created it.

i saw much promise in it, and i'm definitely going to try a whole bunch of fonts/spacings/etc. but something that feels like the above picture.. just, polished.

i guess the point I like is that it's simple - he put a circle above the A, drew a line and two more circles, and he's got his own brand... if, in the end, i (you) come up with something that's totally different and totally betterer i'd use it, but i think he's one of those people who would be set on having a little man on a skateboard.

make sure to design it on a grid, evenly spaced

and make the skateboard look more like a skateboard, and make the A a little smaller in font, it'll still be readable

why is there a big empty space on the right side?

I like the concept for the man on the skateboard.  the font can go though.

that looks way better. I'm trying to re-create the image in photoshop, but I'm not sure which font he used.

on second look, i actually kind of like the wider version if other spacing issues can be resolved!

well there are better ways to widen it than just ctrl+t and pulling the side
