If you answered a question with another question, would you be forced to answer your own rhetorical question?

Technically, nobody could "force" me. However, depending on the nature of the rhetorical question I may or may not answer it.

I would pick the NES, and my two games would probably be Clash At Demonhead and TMNT.

I might replace TMNT with the Legend of Zelda, though. Hrmm................

I mean a REAL nes, not some abominable creation.  Those fakes ones have poor color translation and horrible sound emulation.  Also mastrobation station.

I meant to say that chris chan is being silly. An emulation machine is a far more logical choice than dusty technology.

We haven't tried any NES games but the SNES actually has better imaging than on the original when it comes to A Link to the Past.

Maybe you guys have just played shitty emulating machines before :O

The game world came out clearer, the colors were more vibrant and the movements were actually smoother on the FC Twin than the original SNES.

I think we actually bought a different output cable, but don't quote me on that.

I compared both awhile back and the FC Twin was better on the same TV with the same type of cable. I just checked and there is no nintendo logo smearing what-so-ever.
Regardless, we'll get the original NES as soon as moiph stops saying "well see I'd get the one from my parents but what if my brothers want to use it".

Emulation can't legally emulate the Nintendo tech exactly, so its basically the cheap chinese knockoff of a designer handbag rather than the bag itself.  They could make it better, but they won't given the cost of said machines.

I am an illiterate piece of shit dratini is the silly one and just because the tech is old doesn't mean it is inferior.

tbqh emulation consoles have gotten better but they are still are not perfect and i mean they usually cost the same if not more expensive than the actual real hardware so why bother

Exactly my point.  They have to Pepsi the hardware without overshooting the market value of the originals.  Of course they're going to be inferior.

the real systems are probably better quality anyways despite being in some cases 25 years old. id wager those cheap system on a chip designs, while less technical, are still going to fail a lot more often in the future by virture of just being made with cheap as hell bargain bin pcb and components (this is the exact reason why around 2005 consumer networking equipment like routers and switches all went to shit and apple of all companies is actually one of the honestly good brands left)

SNES was going for $60 online. The FC twin cost less and had both the SNES and the NES (which was going for about $30-$40).

The FC Twin that I'd already played at a friend's house came from the same supplier.

Also I checked ebay and everything at the same time. I could not find anything from a trust worthy seller.

Stop raining on my parade or I'll tell everyone about all that sex that we had while moiph was at work. I'll even tell MOLPH.

I can get you one for $20 plus a game.  It'd be a shitty Madden or other sports game, but it'd be a game.  If it doesn't work, I'll eat my own hat.

As a person who's been to the "sweat shops", you don't know shit.

And if you're going to get a machine that emulates it, just play it on your PC.

You're one of the most predictable people on here. You trying to insinuate you know what you're talking about is going to be called out. That's just the way it is. Continue spreading your ignorance, but I'll call you out on it when you try to pass it off as wisdom.
