I'm been fortunate enough to have met and befriended people of many different backgrounds and races.
For about six years I roomed with many different Asians. At the time I worked in a kitchen, and with the exception of this one Pakistan dude, I was the only non-mexican. I also worked another four years in a kitchen where I was the only non-black.
I've seen several white people change how they act according to their environment. Like some trying to lay down some spanglish when they are with mexicans, and some that try to 'act' black, when they are with black people. Now we all act a little different according to our environment, but by just being myself I've found that I pretty much fit into any environment that I've ever been in.
There have been a few exceptions. Like the one mexican that seemed to distrust all white amreicans, or the one black dude that hates all whites. But that's their problem. Unless they try to make it mine.

You're not dead yet... don't get our hopes up for nothing. Seriously, what did your parents say?
I was very worried about what my parents would think when they came to meet me at the hospital. They said it's only a car, but I didn't feel as reassured as they could have made me. I'm afraid now of getting into another accident so I am overly cautious when turning sometimes. Accidents are scary. Erin, do you know how many points on your license it is for an accident that is your fault?
I love when people say "One of my friends is black" or "I smiled at a black person once" to prove they aren't a racist.

People who patronize blacks piss me off. One of my pet peeves is when no-black people talk to a black guy and suddenly everyones a dog, or that shit is tight, they whip out cool black guy handshakes, or they recognize the tightest of rap on account of owning an album.
Are you so insecure, or just desperate for acceptance, that you have to alter your the personality you project? Lame.

I hope you rot in a ditch somewhere.
Not sure, Ab. The only accident I've been in was when I was a minor, and they reduced it to a headlight violation for me.

At least your car didn't break down on the way back from Minnesota with a trunkful of drugs.

Someone needs to insert the obligatory Fear and Loathing car full of drugs speech.
Sounds like a job for Tobias.

There is nothing in this world more helpless and irresponsible than a man in the depths of an ether binge...
