On 20th Feb 2003, alongwith the Air Chief and others, the Abdalians lost one of their own. Air Commodore Rizwan Ullah Khan, Kit No. 1587, Omar Wing, 1970-1973 was the PSO to Air Chief and the most accomplished of the air force officers, winner of the Sword of Honour as well as the Best Pilot's Trophy. He was not only a F-16 pilot but an aeronautical engineer as well. Although he joined PAF College Sargodha in 1973 but he was always an Abdalian first. He was from a long list of Abdalians starting from the first entry. His son Taimur Rizwan is also an Abdalian. In his honour and memory, Rizwan's wife Samina has started an education trust for the needy children.
In the coming few days I will place the whole concept paper on this site for all the Abdalians to view and participate in this noble cause.

Thanks for this. Actually Taimor sent me an email and wanted me to put some info about teh shaheed on the site but he never came back with the info. Anyways thanks for introducing him, infact if you want his info can take up the front page on www.abdalian.com too.

Dear Imran,
I am very sorry for the sudden death of Rizwan. I visit almost daily to H-8 grave yard and see and offer FATHAWA on his grave. my mothers grave is very close to his. SHE died on 14th march 2004 as i was on tour to France? but I managed to attend yhe funeral.
