Aug 15th 1:22 AM Prof Riaz Razi was murdered in the college on Saturday 1st August, 2004 at 2:30 am. A theif who broke into his house Riaz Razi sahab had fight with the robber and suffered a head injury, he later succumbed to the wound.The accused has been identified to be an ex-janitor of Jinnah Wing. The murderer was caught the next day. Now to the more important thing; Mahfooz sb has already decided to sponsor Mr. Riaz Razi's family and kids with the help of abdalians. That's good because we abdalians get to have one point of contact. Therefore whoever wants to contribute towards the cause can get in touch with Mahfooz sb on his cell number (+92) 0300-8543021. Mr. Razi leaves behind a widow, a daughter and two sons. The daughter has just given her FA 1st year exams, the elder son is studying in CCH (not sure of the class) and the younger one in 9th class elsewhere. I feel if we all contribute a bit on a rolling basis, say monthly, it could facilitate a lot of things for the bereaved family. May Allah be with them.

Aug 27th 11:56 AM The murder of Late Riaz Razi is the most tragic incident ever happened in the history of cadet college hasanbabdal. The more lamentable thing is the totally indifferent attitude of the administration of cch towards this incident. The admin is not only indifferent but is trying its best/worst to supress the news and this is one of the reason that the offical website of cch did not give any news items about the murder. In fact the admin is trying to shun the responsibily which must lay on its door because of the unforgiveable lapses in security of the college. If the indifference of the admin countiues, it will have its far reaching negative effect of the college and even the lives of the remaining teaching staff and the cadets themselves would be in danger. Will somebody in the highups take notice of the whole situation in the interest of the institution? At least three newly employed teachers have left becasue they and their families did not feel secure in the college premises after the brutal murder of one of the senior teahers.
