I'm sure that anyone who is a Dune fan and has played emperor by now, has seen all of the similarities between the game and the movie by Lynch.
Well, what do you think?

I for one liked the feel of the movie as in costumes, etc... and think it is an excellent feature by Westwood to include these into the game. (Afterall the games are all liscenced after the movie and not the books!)

I agree. The movie wardrobe and designs are amazing. I think it was a great idea to use them in Emperor. I liked the depiction of Salusa Secundus as well.

I loved to play Emperor, but then I got Norton antivirus and the game never worked again. How long will it be until there is a new Dune Game? (preferably CNC.)

I have played every dune game ever. Emperor is good in many ways, horible in others. The units are awsome, in it was not on dune. Huge walking mechs in the desert? those things would take 4 steps and a worm would eat them. Al, game balence was terrible, some units insainly powerfull, some units so weak. All in all i was happy with the game for about 4 months. Oh and the worst ever was that Lassguns could shout shields, and that you could wear shields in the desert. Yuck. Even Lynch did not have people with shields in the desert common.
