What is Authentication?

This forum system allows users to post under multiple names, inputting their name for each message. However, some users may wish to identify themselves in such a way that another user cannot impersonate him or her by posting under the same name. Authenticating a user displays a special code identifying the user by his or her computer. Thus any message without this unique User ID is likely not from the original user.

Fedaykin User ID: 9321503	Apr 28th 1:18 AM The sheer stupidity of the novel which i foolishly exchanged for currency (i still regret it) astounds me. to wonder how someone can do so poorly in comparison to the glowing example of a series full of intricate and multi-faceted metaphorical depth is a source of continual awe. therefore i propse Dune: House Atreides is by no means a book of the Dune series. it is a bastardization of the name. if Frank herbert saw a golden path, he wouldn't have made sure no one could have bastardized his series.
