Any pre-reading comments on the newest book synopsis available at www.dunenovels? What struck me is that Leto has an heir named VICTOR and there's no mention of his involvement with Jessica, nor the upcoming birth of Paul. And there's never any mention of any other Woman in Leto's life than Jessica in the first book! Is it just me or is something missing here?

According to DUNE, Leto never had any other woman than Lady Jessica.

and, talking about previews and everything, I found that the House Harkonnen preview stinks. In this book, every single secret from the Fremen, which are extremely well-garded, is known by every stupid Harkonnen agent on the planet. And this, even though the Harkonnen never had any idea of the Fremen culture or numbers or capabilities, and of the fact that, in DUNE, the people claim that a whole sandworm cannot be killed with weapons short of atomics.

That's the kind of shit that happens when you ask writers that are not able to show the political content of Starwars to write about DUNE. And I fully realise that there is no politics whatsoever in Starwars (Me good, you evil...)

Well, you may be wrong there. If you look at it, the way the Emp comes to power is the exact path followed by a certain individual who later became the most influential person of this century, and i don't mean albert einstein although he came from not too far away.

OK Me. But then whom would you see, if anybody, writing the future Dune novels? Besides Brian Herbert, or maybe instead of him?

I think C. J. Cherryh, ( The Faded Sun Trilogy ), would make a good compliment for Little Herbert.

Well well, out already? Have you any info on other foreign editions? Not that the book market has ever been much here in Poland. Where could I get HH in English?
