Wonderful prequel: enjoyed meeting the characters as much younger people, and their predecessors were fascinating. Finally, some answers about the Harkonnens, Ix, and the Emperor. Great to read.

I have to agree with Liz here, especially enjoyed reading the book after part six ... back to the old days of Dune! Woohoo!!
