What is Authentication?

This forum system allows users to post under multiple names, inputting their name for each message. However, some users may wish to identify themselves in such a way that another user cannot impersonate him or her by posting under the same name. Authenticating a user displays a special code identifying the user by his or her computer. Thus any message without this unique User ID is likely not from the original user.

Stilgar User ID: 9196513	Jan 22nd 8:48 AM I emailed amazon.com and scifi.com about a DVD release and they said that presently there is no DVD version however they are considering releasing it in DVD format at a 'later date'.

SonofLiet	Apr 4th 6:08 PM I got the three pack Dune mini-series DVD edition, it's got episodes 1-3 on a dvd each. Its...alright. Not that I like the mini-series but it's Dune. I had to get it. But about the pack...the picture is ok, but there is sooooo much edge enhancement, and, no, Pauls tendency to be an arsehole does not change with improved (!)(It's pathetic!)(!) sound or picture quality. There are some interesting making of shows on disc two, of which "The Filmmakers Vision" was the highlight, cos, well, I eventually want to be a film directer, and it showed some interesting bts stuff, like, ohhhh PROPANE! Wow guys, ingenious stuff (yes I read that somewhere else but I just had to impersonate it). Hopefully I'll make my dreams come true and make the best Dune version of them ALL!!! Lynch version rocks. BTW, is it just me, or is it every time there is an explosion some guy goes flying? I crack up every time. Who else had the DVD?
