hey all, i've got a 73 with a 327 in it, runs pretty good, but in the right cylinder bank there seems to be a miss, i've changed the plugs wires and cap but its still there, i have started to believe that its a burnt valve. gona run a compresion check soon.

but my question is about the brakes, everyday i go out and start the car, but today when i went out i was going to go for a little drive, but when i pressed the brake pedal it went to the floor and the fluid level light came on. I'm sure its the master cylinder, i dont want to just go to autozone and buy a new one, because i have a complete disk brake setup off another nova, and i'm planing on swaping it in to this car, but on a junk 82 firebird i have it has a good master/booster that i was wondering if it would fit and if i will need to make/modify the pushrod to fit. should i even consider this, personaly i think it will work with the measuring i've done so far, just want to know what you all think

Befor you buy or swap anything you had better pull the wheel and check for a leak. then go from there. as far as the master cylinder interchange stop at your local salvage yard and ask they to check the part number in there book and see what will interchange with yours.

the disc/drum setup from the firebird is definately different-the disc brakes don't use a check valve that is crucial for the drum brakes to work. the check valve holds a little pressure in the line so you don't have to pump up the brakes everytime you want to stop.

I'VE GOT A 65 NOVA THAT WON'T START. CHECKED THE PLUGS, REPLACED THE CAP, THE COIL, AND THE WIRES.
I HAVE ELECTRIC COMING IN AND GOING OUT. ANY IDEAS?
