Khakain

The Stringeruption was the span of time between February and June of 2010, in which Stringer held board activity captive with his psychoses. He claimed bipolar disorder and an addiction to prescription drugs, which would go a long way to explaining his behavior, but he's a liar so who knows. He got into a fight with Hitman over his love life. Then Tazor pretended to be mad at him and he got even more riled up. Eventually everyone jumped on the situation and had a marry old time. Eventually he FYIL'd, and we thought that would be the end of it; after all, he'd done this before.

It turns out, he kept a file on the board, marked "How To Destroy Khakain's Server". He tried reporting us to our provider with several bogus claims (a medical picture he claimed was child porn (that we weren't even hosting), a thread about weed, etc). When that failed he tried it a couple more times. Then he attempted to overload our bandwidth in several ways. After closing him off on several fronts he was eventually reduced to downloading every file on the board, manually, through a proxy service. We could see him switch from anonymous service to anonymous service as we locked him out, clicking on stuff in real time, for days. With very little sleep. Though he didn't have the means, he was devoting 100% of his energy to bringing us down.

Eventually it all stopped. We still have security measures in place; registration on this wiki has to be cheated into the system now, for example, since he was uploading giant files to it. He's asked if he would be allowed back and the answer was a resounding "NO!"
