I'm looking for something that will let me run a site similar to grouphug.us.

I mean, I want people to be able to post anonymously onto a main page, with me having total control over which entries get approved.

Anyone know of something?

Or is this something more suited to doing by myself? Is it terrible complicated to create? Could it be a could springboard to get me into perl/php/whateverthehellthisisclassified as?

But uh, it doesn't seem like they've GPL'd the code or anything behind it. It would probably be easiest to just create your own.

Well, you could either find some software already made to do that kind of thing for you, and you'd know what to look for there better because of that vague description, or program it in something like perl or php like you said.

Assuming it wouldn't be a terribly high-traffic site and little bugs aren't a problem for you, I'd imagine it could easily be a one-person job, but again I don't know the specifics of this thing.

Edit, Dunk, I was assuming he wanted a real custom thing and not just an imageboard, as tweakable as they are.

Any idea how I could go about doing that?

I'm not really looking for custom, Fletch. Just something that'll do the basic grouphug.us thing.

You could set it to forced anon, and then just play around with how it displays stuff.

I took a quick glance at the Kahera site and decided that it was for something perverted.
