what most strategists fail to realize is that the extreme fundamentalists that tip the scale just enough to send republicans to the white house...they'll never vote for a democratic candidate anyway, in the present social setting, which i predict will be strong for around another decade or so at least
likewise, i don't think his religion hurts hsi chances, so long as democrats pull from the true majority-- non voters!
