i'm interested in you. You tease. For a second I thought we could skip the next step but alas... i enjoy long, hot, aromatic baths, and frolicking along the beach. No way! Aromatic baths are like my most favorite thing in the world! And I loooove frolicking on the beach. Wow, we really do have a lot in common. We're like the perfect match or something.

do iranians have harems? cos then you wouldn't have to get rid of tejal, she's quite a catch herself. i was going to edit my post, cos i thought someone might edit 'long, hot, aromatic baths' into 'long, hot, something else'. :p

I was thinking something along those lines. Or we could just do it like white people... get drunk and have a threesome?

So what you're saying is that you want me to pay for sex? What do you take me for?
There's no way I'm doing that... unless I get it in writing.

A little off topic but...
How's living in the philippines, anyway? I have a couple of really cool Filipino friends but I don't know much about the actual country.

it's alright. it has its advantages - everything's relatively cheap, and.. um. we have lovely beaches. manila sucks because it's heavily polluted, overpopulated, and we have the worst traffic jams ever. i've lived here my whole life, and i'm getting sick of it, really. i want to live in a country where you can drive to get to another country. can't do that in an archipelago. oh yeah, another advantage is that it's totally normal (and cheap) to have slav- i mean, househelp.

um, it's kinda up there with filipino.
from wikipedia: Filipino (formerly called Pilipino) is the national language and one of the official languages of the Philippines—along with English—as designated in the 1987 Philippine Constitution.

English is the better language anyway.
Being fluent in English lets you post here without getting made fun of.

in younger years i practiced a fillipino form of martial arts called 'kun tao'. the fillipino natives that killed ferdinand magellan used it, supposedly.

i bet you would've killed some guy who tried to take over your province if he was right in front of you. i don't think they'd ever seen a white man before magellan got to the philippines, so they probably felt really threatened. ..i thought magellan was killed with a spear, in some battle in the shallow waters. it appears to be a sword, but i got the water part right.

Wasn't he exploring, not trying to take them over?
And they could have been like the people in central america that thought the spanish explorer that came to them was a god.

Yeah, Magellan got his ass kabobed. He was going to the island of Mactan to fight the cheif there, who had a grudge with one of the other native tribes that Magellan had befriended and asked to deal with him.

tagalog is the dialect that became the national language, which was renamed to filipino cos people who spoke other dialects got pissed off that their dialect wasn't chosen as the official language. it's pretty much the same thing, just that it's called filipino now. the tagalog dialect still exists.

Exploring to the Spanish was synonymous with raping, pillaging, and converting. Not that killing Magellan off the bat saved the Filipinos or anything.
