So, as may have become apparent, I've taken quite a fondness to weed lately. I drink very little now compared to before because I'd much rather be high and it's cheaper and more enjoyable. Who else are smokers here?

But that's not really the topic of this thread here. I dropped LSD for the first time a few weeks ago. I did it for the first time and I did it at a massive (a rave with around 50,000 people).

Quick background on my LSD experiences before this is my roommate who did it a few months ago and it turned the complete crazy person on in him. I've never felt any need to take it, and even less so with me tellign him how it changed his life and how he sees everything differently now.

SO when I went to my rave (with my two room mates) all I brought was weed. We hot boxed it in my truck, pounded some beer then marched into the rave (I crotched about 20 joints and a blunt) and it was party time. While my crazy roommate went to go find the person that was supposed to find his acid, I was attacked by a hugging hot girl in a bikini yelling acid in my face. came down to she was selling acid, I had weed (brought in all medical White Widow!) and we exchanged because I decided FUCK IT I'm doing Acid, I knew I could handle it.  My roomate and I meet up and I ended up doing about 1 1/2 tabs. AT A MASSIVZE RAVE

About 2 hours later shit got very OH SHIT!!! I was separated from my friends in a crazy environment and I was absolutely tripping balls. I walked in a circle for what seemed to be an eternity and then i just sat down feeling absolute terror trying to claw its way out of my chest and me having to fight to contain it. I was just lost to the fullest extent of the word, and for me that was terrifying. After a while I forced myself to get up and walk, and I found what I was lookign for. This giant amazing light set up, I went and laid in the grass by it and watched it and eventually started talking to people and just trying to figure this drug out.

Decided I wasn't going to be seeing my friends again but a beer could really really help. SO i walk to the beer stand and as i was walking there I saw (out of 50,000 people) my roomates who had ran into each other a bit before and decided to get a beer, it was incredible. We started telling each other of what's been up.

We split up again and I went onto the dance floor and just let loose to the enviroment, it was phenominal. Just dancing, and the vibe. Not to mention the visuals which were stunning on acid.

I'm sure I have much more to recount and details to add if anyone wants more but thinking is pretty hard now, just wanted to make this thread.


sort: Acid is a crazy ass drug, unless you know for fucking sure you are mentally stable don't take it. And for your first time doing it do it around a familiar place and familiar people. it's no joke

Well duh. Acid is awesome, and should be taken in a calm, safe environment if it's your first time dropping tabs. Don't try to look cool or somehow more immune than you really are. Be smart about it! I tend to loathe ravers in general, but tripping balls sounds like it might make the experience a lot more pleasurable (read: slightly less painful).

Apart from being far more silly, erratic, and sleepy, I'm able to think much deeper than usual without any added anxiety or mental fatigue. The dialogue is pretty amazing too, until I abruptly change the subject or go to roll down a hill.

In that sense, yes. He took what was probably a research chemical from a stranger that he would never see or be able to identify at a "MASSIVZE RAVE", two weeks ago at that. I wouldn't be upset at all if he said he maybe went a a peruvian shaman and took a mixture of ayahuasca for a religious experience, or even sat at home and enjoyed the experience of a good mushroom trip. I guess my problem stems with the manner in which he took a drug, the location of such ingestion, and yes, probably the reasons why. It's people like that who make psychodelics illegal.

Cookie I think it did make the music more intense, but it just really made the whoever enviroment much more intense. There is totally q vibe at these things that is awesome, there are a large amount of superficial annoying people there, I didn't have anything but positive vibes from everyone. It was quite an experiance.

my point for sure, I'm getting my shit done and being rather productive compared to before. I'll smoke then do yoga/ clean/ take my dogs on a long walk or my most favorite is gardening.

There are individuals I know who get off of work have a few beers and sit in front of the TV and that is socially acceptable. What evs~

Besides, it's not like I'm always high. Just particuraly late at night when my normal internet hours are. You know, when before I'd usually be buzzed.

Also, reading while high is fantastic (something I have no inclination towards when sober).

if you have a chronic illness with medical records backing it up you can get your medical card easy. I would not recommend moving out here unless you know people and have shit lined up first. It's pretty rough for your average person right now.

Move to Mexico, they just decriminalized posession of 5g or less of weed, .5g or less of coke, .15 of meth, .1 of heroin and .01 of LSD

Mines a legitimate illness, I have raynauds phenomenon, also asthma. Both which are chronic, incurable and can be helped by marijuana.

Depression will count, so long as you have actual medical documentation for it. I really hope it gets legalized here in CA soon, probably within the next 10 years. not so for the rest of the US though.

Actually, it's exactly people tripping balls at DJ shows that made psychodelics illegal. Back in the 50s the government and research institutes gave acid to the cultural echelon. Jazz musicians, painters, and politicians all saw it as an artistic outlet. It became illegal because people started seeing it as a recreational drug, and grouped together at retard-conventions..... like raves. He not only took a drug for the first time at one of these retard-conventions, but he took a drug that he had no way of identifying. The chances that he took lsd is close to none.

Back in the early 2000s there were a bunch of new synthesized drugs people lumped together and called research chemicals. They were so new that they were not yet illegal, and with little effort could be ordered off the internet. Some of these drugs weren't entirely dangerous, but some of them were increadibly dangerous. The 2-c family is one great to study. 4-acetoxy(ho as well)-DiPT is fun, and hardly dangerous. Then there are substances like DPT and foxy-methoxy. People took these substances at places like raves- many times being told it's acid. It's the people that died or had violent seizures that opened the public's eye, and made these substances strictly illegal.

One day I took 2-ce at home. It was fantastic, but after the 7th hour, I got a call from the person I got it from, a good friend who'd wanted me to do DPT with her and her friends. I decided that DPT looked dangerous, and read about the negative reports on erowid. Apparently, one of her friends stood up really quickly and screamed, "I cut my dick off!!!". Within seconds he was seizing on the floor, gnashing with his teeth. Soon, there were three people seizing badly, with the cops on their way. The only person that didn't get kicked out of school was my friend because her boyfriend jumped under the gun and took the blame. They got off lucky that nobody died. Oh yeah, that same friend took the 2-ce that was awesome for me at a later date, and ended up having a seizure on it, spending two days in the hospital.

You might be able to go to a rave and trip acid, I don't care. But when you talk about it on a public forum, I find it necisary to call you an idiot, and remind you that it is dumbasses like you who make drugs illegal. Next time think before you say something stupid, and maybe learn something about the dumb things you do.

I've seen people seize on mushrooms, attack good friends on acid, and try and rape girls on LSA I extracted. The only drug I haven't seen people act like complete morons was ayahuasca, which is the most intense one ever. That's because true psychonauts don't do it to be cool, or because they feel rebellious. They do it for psychic cleansing. I guarantee that if you went to shroomery's message board and posted any of this, that people would be a lot more severe than me. They hate people like you.

ha. i just put in an order with my brother and he gets it from wherever. gnomes, for all i know. generally though around here it hasn't been too bad.
