Hello,
I just bought a L&H c-tenor, it is a wonderful instrument. But he must get repaired! I brought the sax to a man named 'Karsten Gloger'. He makes handmade necks for saxophones and ships them to all over the world to everyone who want a neck from him.
Does anyone know this guy? his webpage www.gloger-handkraft.com

Hello,
thank you Mossite for the information.
I don't know if he is cheap or not, because I don't know the regular prices for a reperation.
He repairs the c-tenor completely and I payed €271 for it...Is that expensive or not.
He also is a very nice guy! He was very keen on my sax! I don't know the results yet, because he is stil bij Karsten Gloger.
Regards,
Bram

Yeah, compared to the prices you pay on Cologne, Germany that is a real bargain. Here you pay for the normal overhaul minimum €600. That includes normal avarage pads. If you want to have expresnive pads, you pay very fast €800 or more. So 271 was a gift.
By the way, I have a Gloger Handcraft sterling silver neck for my SX90R alto, realy great neck. Never regreted that I have ordered it. Carsten Gloger is a realy nice man. He is only satisfied, if his customers are satisfied. But you have to have time. Get a neck from him takes 2-6 month.
