C Melody Saxophone Forum / C-Tenor (C-Melody) Saxophones / New pads change intonation?

I recently had new pads put on my 1922 Conn C. Before the work, it was leaky but the intonation was generally very good.
After the work, it plays nicely but the middle C's intonation is badly flat. Did the re-pad cause it, and is there a way to fix it?

Lou.....It can probably be fixed by adjusting the height of some of the pads away from the tone holes. You will have to experiment until you get it right!

I have the same problem on my Buescher soprano.
came back from the shop unchanged.
