One of my students bought the metal Aquilasax mouthpiece for his Martin C Melody. I was so impressed by the quality in this inexpensive mouthpiece that I ordered a curved neck for my 1919 Conn C Melody. It just arrived. Wow! It is flawless, fits perfectly, and plays smoothly. I like the octave key arrangement, as it is a bit less prone to damage. Hats off to Steve. This endorsement is not compensated: however, I do expect major discounts on any future orders ;)

jazzbug1 - as you raised this topic, I praise the $50 metal Aquilasax alto mouthpiece (without any coercion, business connection, or reward) in my review at -

I just know the alto mouthpiece is 'cloned' from something really good, from the look of the rails and baffle, and of course the sound....
