Some may have noticed that Alan's "signature" on his postings on Sax-On_The-Web has been augmented to..."Distinguished SOTW Member and Champion of the C-Melody".
An accolade indeed from such an august body, based upon his excellent site and his knowledgeable and helpful postings.
An accolade that cannot be bought or blagged...I for one, tip my hat to you sir.

Everyone on this forum knows that Alan Tucker is Tops in what he does. In my opinion he knows more about C melody saxophones than anyone I have ever come across.

Just when I'd decided I like C-Soprano far more than C-melody. Sigh......

Happily they're much rarer (and certainly more expensive) so I'll never afford to be buried under a pile of them (unlike C-Mels....:-)

Mmmm. Accolade, followed by Birthday. A then B. What could possibly happen next, starting with a 'C' ?

Cemetery, Cremation, Coffin, Casket.....?

Nah - C-Mel and C-Sop !!!!

jazzbug1: Let's not go overboard on this now. Write the Queen instead.
