Sorry to be bothersome...this is sort of a follow-up to my last post. I've been doing some research, found loads of information almost all of which was really confusing, and then went to E-bay (I know, buyer beware).
Anyone have anything to say about these auctions? All clinkers, what I should be willing to pay, ANYTHING. The last in particular is the one I'm most interested.
Thanks in advance for any advice...it's so appreciated.

auctions #250101339009, #330106643781, #230114252997 and #140106172866.

Captain Bb. Please just take just a short break. The place won't be the same without you. I'm sure most watchers sympathise with your personal stance regarding a philosophy or not of life. Ignore the "holier than thou" thoughts.
You lot over there on the other side of the pond: just let people be and stop getting so het up. What's the matter? Are you insecure? Seems that way. Lighten up. Cool it. Believe in what you will. I agree with you're belief, but I'd stand to the hilt with an atheist who feels forced by fananics. I suspect that many atheists would fight for the "rebel" Jesus. End.

Ken Uk - Connman - Mr. Debunk.... My God man. With all your aliases, don't you realize your just talking to and answering yourself? Get a grip! What's the point. You are just dragging this crap out and traveling farther away from saxophone and C melody info posts. I believe in letting live and let live. I don't put Bb down for his beliefs. I just abhor his hateful way of badgering those who don't agree with him. If you think his horrible treatment of Doc Frazier is justifiable. Then you are full of s**t, no matter what side of the pond you live on. Suck that up!

I appreciate the comments from both sides (and both sides of the pond) but it is time to end this discussion now. You can only beat a dead horse so long. Let's get this group back to the thing we love so much....C melodies.

One last point, Voltaire once said:

"Sir, i may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the seath your right to be a complete ***shole".

I heard about this C melody as well, has anyone any information on it?

Now then Mugs, Ken is a gentleman, and gentlemen "never complain or explain" - so I'll explain his various pseudonyms. There will be some embedded humour, so don't go all serious on me. At the end I shall make a reference to a C-Melody, just to get us back on track. Now, are you sitting comfartably ? (that was an example of humour...)

a) he is obviously called "ken" and is from the UK....
b) he owns a Conn tenor (underslung, of course, the manly one...) hence "Conn" "Man". He also owns a MkVI, but naturally doesn't want to be "SelmerMan" - too close to Selmersaxman, or whatever his name was ?
c) I think either you or JJ accused him of 'debunking' recently, so obviously he was only responding to your lead.... ? You gave it him (to use Northern phraseology, as Ken is from near 'Brum')

And, on the subject of 'Bb' - myself, Ken, ukebert (etc. - and I hope they won't mind me speaking for them), would hopefully still wish respect him for his many abilities, and retain Bb' s friendship, whatever he says. I certainly will. He gigs (we have a pic to prove it, and rebuilds saxes (e.g. the Pelham Conn), and is a good man. Let's see you guys being a bit more 'public', c'mon, lets see you in action. We're all entitled a little forthrightness occasionally, and if a few words offend anyone, then "Yaah boo sucks" to all of you :-)).

Is America populated by introverts ? I think NOT.......... You're the most extreme nation in the world, always spouting off aout something. So don't get all sensitive on us, and please don't use phrases like "full of s**t" around Ken, you'll offend his sensibilities - I challenge you to find one post where he offends anyone ?

So, that's my "thruppenceworth", as Gran used to say. Any adverse reaction to any of this, and I'll bugger off from this forum forever, so don't anyone even think about it.......

OK - Opinions ? Bruce - I think Martin and King made some of the best C-Mels ever ! But I'm getting quite interested in the Aquilasax one (that was a blatant advertisement....)

Remember, one criticism, and I'll be gone........woooosh......

Oh, and I suppose Bueschers C-Mels are OK for smoothies....

Sorry, midnight here in oz.
been looking here for some months. Given a gold plated conn for christmas.Played for about an hour in its life.
Whats up with you guys. WW2 sounds a dangerous dude,if he was a muzlim he would be banged up for all that crap he spouts,is WW2 startin WW3? Captain Muggles and Jungle Jim are the same guy, only his opinion matters and talks a bunch of junk. Good on ya Bb, the only guy with any balls and sense. Alan you sound cool, must look up your site.

Just what we need. A psychic from down under who has all the answers. Welcome fodder. Feed the flock. By the way. We are two seperate people who live in the same area, gig with each other and share the same type of opinions. You sound like Bb's lawyer or at least Bb himself incarnate or a long lost blood relation. That's good. We need another misguided misanthrope to lean on! Anyone who puts down WW2 (The forum administrator by the way) is fair game. Let the games begin. Also; Can you play that thing? (Your gold plated Conn). Or do you use it for a lamp to light your way?

Oh dear, I just posted "Hello..." after newbie's "Hi" - but because I was on the phone as well, I obviously didn't press 'submit' quickly enough !

So I see I've walked into yet another war zone, well, at least no-one can say that this forum is boring....... :-))

Yes, please do (all) look up my site, if it stops all this "handbags at dawn" macho stuff.

" cmelodysax.co.uk "

It's about saxophones, same as this forum used to be.....
