People... This thread must be a record for even this forum. After the original topic was posted (Why is SOTW so boring?) The next 17 posts have nothing to do with the original topic! A classic example of Short Attention Spanitus! You guys have too much idle time on your hands! I know you'll fault me on this and rag me out; But YOU KNOW IT'S TRUE!!!!!!!

Captain Muggles: The fact that the discussion headed off topic toward the end of the first reply and has continued off topic is in fact addressing the original topic by example. As Lewis said in his initial reply SOTW stay on topic which equals boring. Not so here where heading off topic is almost a requirment and leads to non boringness. You never know what insantiy will happen next.

Capn - agreed, we have just run out of steam... I put together (and still am..) a Q&A page to cover at least 75% of the 'new' postings - e.g thinking of buying/bought on ebay, mouthpieces, special music, etc etc etc. So I don't really want to keep answering those questions over and over again.

Another 20% can be answered by Google, so maybe we should all go away and clean/fix/play our C-Mel(s) instead of all getting steamed up about politics and religion - two areas that have caused more trouble and grief than all the other put together.

As the instigator of this topic I formally request its CLOSURE, otherwise we'll end up being all the things that saxontheweb isn't, and none that it is. R.I.P.

I suppose to keep on topic you needed someone to argue that SOTW wasn't boring . . . <waits, looks @ watch> Hmmm

<keeps on topic and ignores Alan's plea to close topic ;-) )

SOTW is boring because it is US dominated and most (not all) are intellectually challenged (i.e. can't search to see if their question has already been answered elsewhere) and most (not all) have the attention span of a gnat.
