Nov 8th 4:45 PM Turns out that John Phillip Sousa, a great endorser of the Saxophone, was born on November 6, 1854! Exactly 40 years after Adolph Sax was born (November 6, 1814)! Happy birthday to two great people who helped to make the saxophone what it is today!
