Hey guys. Just thought you might find it interesting.
<a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7358689786&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26satitle%3D7358689786%26fvi%3D1"> MY C MELODY</a href>
I'm not real knowledgeable on these things anymore, but I think this is an early model C Melody. It's a 179XXX serial number. If anyone wants to ask questions please feel free to respond. I will check this forum frequently. Thanks!

Jamal forgets that some of this group are not familiar with american expressions since they reside in the UK. Kotex is a suppository some drummers use.
I think we are all overlooking one of Jamal's points in the ad which is quite valid however, that he is not a pro sax player. The satin sax finish we must admit is rare on new saxs today although it is making a comeback.

Hello Monique van Buffet, I don't think we've had the pleasure ? Shame your User ID id is one that (young) SelmerSaxMan has used in the past.....
Of course it may well be a coincidence, care to tell us about yourself Monique ?

Looks a nice sax, but like you all seem to be saying, better quality than some I've seen, Buescher has done a version of neck with just a re-inforced plate construction under the neck as well as the half moon construction that Martin employed, I've even seen Harwood stencil's made by Buescher with the same arrangement support under the neck bend, any one wanting pic's of one that I did recently mail me DeanoTheSaxman@aol.com
C-Mel's on E-bay, generally if your looking to
re-furbish, they are not in bad condition, but remember if your looking to re-furbish and the price is right, your looking to do most repairs anyway! Nice sax anyway !

Jamal - I think you may have shot yourself in the foot - from your 90% ebay positive feedback, and the 'caring attitude' you exhibit (not), I'd be surprised if anyone from this forum buys the sax.......
Good Luck tho'.

I have no comment on this disaster, other than Jamal is selling a very common horn at the lower end of the value scale. (Sorry, Buescher fans: there's just too many of these around). And: Edgy style Rock players certainly have an aggressive vocabulary which echoes their "music".
