I was given a silver 1921 C-melody by my great grandfather some time ago. I have cleaned it up as best as I can, and have it listed on ebay for sale.

I believe that is later than 1921, but that is a vintage horn in wonderful condition and I'm sorry I missed it. At $350 it was quite a bargain.

I have one of my own (from 1926, with a lower serial number) to put up for offer, and it's not shiny, but still has wost of the silver (under the tarnish). The details and pictures are at:

That's supposed to be MOST of the silver! Also, I no longer think this is from 1926 even though the previous owner thought so -- more likely it's 1922 or 23. (Not a huge difference.) It does not have snap-in pads, nor does it appear that it ever did, since I had to float in one pad that was loose in the case and saw no sign of the snap assembly in the cup.

I've listed it on eBay with a Buy It Now at $250, but other arrangements can certainly be made if anyone is interested in making an offer. Those in the Los Angeles area can even opt for local pickup and save the shipping charges (and delay).
