Wade: Please make this a registered members only forum in order to stop the spam. It's spreading like cancer. I guarantee that most of the people on this forum agree with me. This spam crap is going to ruin this forum. Please. Or at least find some other way to gat rid of these pigs.

Maybe a few more people should become admins, with the responsibility of removing spam. Any takers? I remember Wade offered co-adminship before.

I have yet to find a forum that is as easy to use as this one. Plus, the price being free means I can keep it alive with no worry about paying for the forum service.

Check out Sax on the Web's forum. Initially, they used this exact forum service. Then, because of problems, it became a members only forum. Please try their forum for a few days and see if you like that style compared to this.

Meanwhile, the admins on this forum (only me at the moment) will delete the spam as we encounter it.

I like vBullitin, but this forum is easier to use, but what to do about spam? Goodness knows.

I have checked out the html forum service I set up. It is now PASSWORD protected, so you can only read unless you have the password. The posting password is "c-melody" if you want to use that forum.

Also, I can remove the pop-up ads for $54.95 per year from the html forum. To remove the bravenet branding would take an additional $54.95 per year.

If I were to pay for the ads to be removed and the Brave Net branding to be removed, do you think that forum would be acceptable as a replacement for this one?

If you use Firefox with the AdBlock plugin, you don't see any ads. When I go to the forum all I see is "Web Hosting Guestbooks" etc and "To remove all ads click here"

It's free and it means that I see almost no ads whatsoever on the web.

Well, I've moved over to the Brave 'un (or back, whichever way you look at it). Guess I'll hang out there for a while, in the spam-free zone !

At least with the ads, one click and it's gone, on this site the spammers aren't as easily removed !

It's a modern fact of life, you can't have 'simplicity of posting' (like here) without some spammer or spambot taking advantage of it.

$54 per year, it would be more cost effective to get vbullitin, which is around £91 forever. I'm sure we could get people to contribute in some way.

Alegik: If you possibly read this forum. This is to let you know tht I wish you and your entire family have really catastrophic misfortunes for the rest of your entire lives. And if there is a way that I can personally help this to happen, I will gladly take the time and gather the resources to hurry it along and make it a little more agonizing than it would normally be! Have a nice day Wanker.
